About

Kaylin Clingensmith is a photographic artist from New Castle, PA, who explores the intersections of collage and photography through a feminine lens. Her work captures moments in time, using multi-layered collages that combine photographs, tactile elements, and manipulated light to represent overlooked experiences. These compositions are rephotographed and digitally altered to reflect the disorienting effects of memory and perception, encouraging viewers to challenge assumptions and uncover hidden truths.

Kaylin is pursuing an MFA in Photography at SCAD and has exhibited her work in western Pennsylvania galleries. She was named to Photolucida's Critical Mass Top 200 in 2024. A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Kaylin is also a dedicated educator, teaching photography and art across various school settings.
